A new goal
Just another Sunday and I’m on my way to the gym. I have a new goal – to be able to see my abs this summer and make them more defined. I have started setting goals in everything I do. I’ve never done that before, but it’s working. I have read about it so many times, but I’ve never tried it before myself.
For the last year or so I have written down short term goals for the next tree months. At first it was only for my company, but now I’ve started doing it for other things as well. It’s funny how just thinking about what you want and writing it down on a piece of paper can affect you so much.
Program your brain to start helping you
I know nothing much is going to happen if I don’t succeed in achieving what I have planned, but it seems almost like my brain is programmed with this new information and at the end of every three months I have succeeded doing what I intended to do.
Set difficult goals, but not impossible
When I sit down to write my goals, I try to make them difficult, but not too difficult. I want to be able to achieve what I have planned. I write my goals on a small piece of paper and place it next to my computer where I sit every day and work. I’m not consciously looking at it, but sometimes it catches my eye and I look at it and smile, feeling how good it’s going to feel once I’m there.
I have never before been this focused on my goals and I’m so happy to see how well it works. I actually wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t tried it. I have read so many books about our subconscious mind and I know the importance of what you are focusing on, how you are talking to yourself and what kind of information you choose to program yourself with. It make me so happy every time, like this, when I see that it actually works.
