I have always loved being outdoors. When I was younger I used to spend all my time outside picking flowers and finding all kinds of treasures that I would bring home with me and decorate my pink childhood room.
I’m just the same now – I love decorating and making my home beautiful, but I don’t take the time to go outside anymore. I’m at home doing all kind of chores instead of doing what I know I love – spending time finding treasures.
Why is it so difficult to just do what you know is good for you? I’m not sure, but I’m going to make a change and start being better at spending time in nature. The soft rustling of leaves in the wind, the bird chirping and the smell of soft, green moss on the ground. If that’s not the best medicine in the world, I don’t know what is. I feel so uplifted, calm and energized when I’m in a forest or out by the sea.
Can you feel the same? That you get uplifted spending time outside in the nature? I think that most of us could use a little more balance between spending time indoors and being surrounded by the soft, quiet nature.
I am fascinated by how stubborn I have been not doing what I deep down know is best for me. I need to make a change. Or perhaps “need” is the wrong word. I’m going to because I know it’s going to make me happy.
I would love to know your thoughts on this. Comment down below and write how you feel. Is it difficult to find the time to do what you know is best for you? Spending time outdoors or other activities that you want to do, but never seem to get the time to do.
Wishing you a wonderful day,
