These cute little raw food snacks are a new version of one of my old recipes - Snickers bars. Levande föda för bättre hälsa!

Raw food snacks – Marzipan!
I made this little frog together with Cornelia, my oldest daughter this weekend. I had some marzipan leftovers from last week when I made Swedish Hoovers and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. What do you make with a big lump of green marzipan? The first thing that came to my mind was - a frog! For the tongue and eyes I used icing that I had left from last Christmas and the dark spot in the eyes are chocolate. I haven’t tried coloring the marzipan in other colors yet, but I´m thinking that ... VIEW POST
Raw food snacks – marsipangroda!
VIEW POST

Delicious Healthy Low Carb Wok
Making a healthy vegan wok without turning on the stove. I recently tried two healthy, low carb alternatives to ordinary noodles. Mung bean noodles and shirtaki noodles. They are both gluten free, fat free, vegan with a low glycemic index, meaning they don’t cause a spike in blood sugar. They are both a great alternative to pasta and noodles for everyone who want to avoid gluten and/or want a low carb alternative. Make your own healthy Apple Chips
I saw this recipe a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a great idea for a healthy snack. I tried it and it was really good. As the apple slices are dried the flavor is intensified and it becomes much sweeter. You can decide if you want them crisp or a bit chewy by the time you keep them in the oven. They are really easy to make. Just slice the apple in thin slices, add cinnamon and put them in the oven. It will take a few hours but then you will have a healthy, whole food snack for yourself ...
